We are a brand that believes in food wholeheartedly as a way to nourish the body, mind, and spirit, and that is why we choose to use only whole foods and plants in our products. Our products are not made from highly processed soy/pea protein isolates or forms of dense and sticky wheat gluten, but rather are crafted from actual plants the way Earth has provided them to us.

Here at Ahimsa Harvest Foods, we care deeply for the planet, animals, plants and the cultivation of a symbiotic relationship that will serve us all. That being the case, we continually strive to bring you the very best quality food products and ones that won’t cause harm to you (through the consumption of our products) or any other living being.

Organic, all-natural, minimally processed, plant-based, cruelty-free and void of added flavors, colors, or preservatives is what our brand stands for.

Brendan Kotlus
Founder/ CEO

Growing up in a Jewish household in the northeast, bagels and lox were a staple in Brendan’s diet until he became Vegan in 2008. For over a decade, lox truly became one of Brendan’s most missed foods. As a child, Brendan enjoyed lox so much that he would even skip the cream cheese and put lox fillets directly on plain bagels and crackers.

12 years later, Brendan realized a vegan smoked salmon (lox) alternative could be developed and after a year of perfecting the Faux Lox organic/gluten-free recipe, to the delight of himself and to many other vegans, this delectable “fishy” treat became a reality.

And that was just the start. In January 2024, Ahimsa Harvest came out with a Wildcrafted Sea Moss product line that is unique in all ways and wonderfully tasty!

Taking the health food consumers by storm is just what he does with his innovative ideas and “go-getter” attitude.
